Let ReApp find the moment
On Mac, ReApp schedules a fresh pause at a random time between 30 and 90 minutes. You can also start one whenever you need it.
Public Mac beta
ReApp gives developers and people working with ChatGPT or Codex a guided 30, 60, or 90-second pause—without losing their place in the work.
LET THE SCREEN WAIT
THE MOMENT WE MISS
You hand off a task, then keep watching the spinner. One request becomes another. Minutes turn into hours, and the screen never gives you a natural stopping point.
ReApp creates one: a short, visible reset that lets you look away, follow a gentle rhythm, and come back to one clear next step.
HOW IT WORKS
No streaks to protect. No dashboard to manage. No account required.
On Mac, ReApp schedules a fresh pause at a random time between 30 and 90 minutes. You can also start one whenever you need it.
Choose 30, 60, or 90 seconds. The screen quiets down and a simple visual pacer gives your eyes and attention somewhere else to go.
Press Escape anytime. ReApp closes immediately and schedules another random pause. Your task remains where you left it.
ONE IDEA, THREE SURFACES
Automatic 30–90 minute scheduling, a compact menu-bar control, and a full-screen pause that disappears the moment you press Escape.

Connect in Developer ModeThe bundled skill recognizes an explicit request to pause and keeps the reset separate from the task you asked Codex to do.
See the Codex setupSeparate AI work continues only when the host and workflow support it. ReApp never pretends that a task is running when it is not.
CALM BY DESIGN
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
No. The Mac app works locally and does not read your screen, code, or conversations. The ChatGPT/Codex tool accepts only the reset length, an optional self-described state, cue style, and a short work label you choose to share.
No. Press Escape or choose Exit at any time. The reset closes immediately, your work remains untouched, and ReApp schedules another pause for later.
No. ReApp is a general-wellness timer, not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for professional care. Breathe in a way that feels comfortable to you.
The production MCP service is live and can be tested in Developer Mode. The public Plugins Directory listing will be added after OpenAI completes its review.
New notarized Mac versions are published through GitHub Releases. The current beta does not update itself; download the newest release and run the installer again.
