The pause finds you—without losing your AI workflow.

LET THE SCREEN WAIT

Your work is still here.

THE MOMENT WE MISS

AI moves fast.
Your attention still needs a pause.

You hand off a task, then keep watching the spinner. One request becomes another. Minutes turn into hours, and the screen never gives you a natural stopping point.

ReApp creates one: a short, visible reset that lets you look away, follow a gentle rhythm, and come back to one clear next step.

HOW IT WORKS

A pause that fits the way you work.

No screen monitoring. No account required. You remain in control.

01

Let ReApp find the moment

On Mac, ReApp schedules a fresh pause at a random time between 30 and 90 minutes. You can also start one whenever you need it.

02

Follow one gentle rhythm

Choose 30, 60, or 90 seconds. The screen quiets down and a simple visual pacer gives your eyes and attention somewhere else to go.

03

Return without losing the thread

Press Escape anytime. ReApp closes immediately and schedules another random pause. Your task remains where you left it.

ONE IDEA, THREE SURFACES

Use ReApp where the work happens.

ChatGPT app

Ask for a reset in natural language. ReApp requests fullscreen when supported and shows the controls to open or install the automatic Mac companion.

Codex plugin

A privacy-preserving session hook wakes the installed Mac companion when Codex starts. The companion owns the randomized timer, so it works without reading the task.

Separate AI work continues only when the host and workflow support it. ReApp never pretends that a task is running when it is not.

CALM BY DESIGN

The timer stays simple. The user stays in control.

  • Fixed timing. Gentle five-second inhale and exhale phases are controlled by code, not generated by AI.
  • Minimal data. No account, analytics, mood history, or access to your code is required.
  • Local fallback. The reset still works when AI personalization is unavailable.
  • Immediate exit. Escape ends a Mac reset without judgment and schedules a future pause.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

What ReApp does—and what it doesn’t.

Does ReApp read my code or ChatGPT conversations?

No. The Mac app works locally and does not read your screen, code, or conversations. The ChatGPT/Codex tool accepts only the reset length, an optional self-described state, cue style, and a short work label you choose to share.

Will the full-screen pause trap me?

No. Press Escape or choose Exit at any time. The reset closes immediately, your work remains untouched, and ReApp schedules another pause for later.

Is this a medical or therapeutic product?

No. ReApp is a general-wellness timer, not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for professional care. Breathe in a way that feels comfortable to you.

Why is the ChatGPT/Codex version still a private beta?

The production MCP service is live and can be tested in Developer Mode. The public Plugins Directory listing will be added after OpenAI completes its review.

How do updates work?

New notarized Mac versions are published through GitHub Releases. The current beta does not update itself; download the newest release and run the installer again.
