Report a reproducible issue
Technical users can open a GitHub issue with clear steps and screenshots that contain no sensitive information.
Open a GitHub issue →Install the Mac app
- Download the current notarized DMG.
- Open ReApp-0.2.8-macOS.dmg.
- Double-click Install ReApp.
- When the confirmation appears, choose Got it and look for the circular breath mark in the menu bar.
I cannot see the menu-bar icon
ReApp may be running even when macOS has hidden the icon because the menu bar is crowded. Close or hide another menu-bar app, or reduce the space used by the active app’s menus. ReApp should then become visible. You can also open ReApp again from Applications to confirm it is running.
ReApp does not open
Make sure you installed the app from the DMG and are using macOS 13 or newer. Open Applications, launch ReApp once, and look for its confirmation window. If macOS shows a security message, capture the exact wording and send it to support.
End or postpone a reset
Press Escape at any time. ReApp closes the full-screen pause immediately and chooses another random time between 30 and 90 minutes. From the menu, you can also pause automatic resets for one hour, until tomorrow, or turn them off.
Check the AI service
The ChatGPT/Codex experience has a public status check at ai.reappofficial.com/health. If it reports "ok": true, the MCP service is responding.
